Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Staranzano e Villesse carries out banking activities in support of the Local Community.

The Bank’s philosophy is to operate with professionalism and enthusiasm to offer shareholders and customers insurance products and services capable of managing various needs. In spite of the pandemic situation, the bank’s balance sheet and income statement grew steadily in 2020, recording a net profit of almost EUR 5 million. In 2020, total assets almost reached EUR 1.5 billion, with customer deposits up 10.7% and customer loans up 4.6% (mainly mortgages granted to households and SMEs). Compared to 2019, earnings and capital capacity increased: Cost Income stood at 60.3%, and capital strength as measured by the CET1 Ratio increased to 26.91%.

Sustainable Financing Association was created thanks to the contribution of founding members, mainly entrepreneurial groups, but also private citizens, professional and business associations, as well as financial entities, interested in establishing a strong hub of financial attraction in Trieste at the European and global level. The Association is still open to the entry and contribution of new members who wish to commit themselves and support the promotional activities, also by working alongside the political institutions that will support the project, first and foremost at the national level, both at government and parliamentary level, and then at European level.
