He has built his career as a manager working with numerous international donors and institutions, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Commission, the United Nations, the World Bank, the Central European Initiative, as well as Swedish, British, and German development cooperation agencies, and Italian institutions such as the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry for the Environment, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Confindustria, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Veneto Region, the Abruzzo Region, and the Interregional Observatory for Development Cooperation.
He is an expert in subsidized and sustainable finance, the management of European and international programs, international policy, cross-border and transnational cooperation, development cooperation, institutional capacity building, the drafting of national plans, and project management in the fields of environment, energy, and transport.
He is the author of historical and scientific publications on environmental topics, as well as books focusing on tools to support business internationalization and the development of international careers for young professionals.
He lectures in two Master’s programs on Blue and Green Circular Economy at the University of Trieste, and on Financial Instruments and Mechanisms in crisis areas at the Italian Institute for Advanced Defence Studies.
