Carlo Antonio Feruglio
Feruglio Carlo Antonio is the owner of the La Ferula farm in Staranzano, which was established over a hundred years ago. The main sector of the company is wine-growing, with a cultivated area of 24 hectares. The farm also grows fruit and vegetables according to traditional integrated agriculture, in particular, asparagus and the Isonzo rose. The wine cellar is located in old, restored farm buildings dating back to 1690, which also house the Locanda Italia, in the style of an old village inn.
In addition to his position as President of the BCC of Staranzano and Villesse – a position he has held since 2002 – he has been a councillor and member of the Chamber of Commerce Council of Venezia Giulia for the agricultural sector since 2016, President of Essiccatoio Bozzoli soc. coop agricola in Palmanova since 2015, Sole Director of Mondina srl in Fiumicello, deputy in the Consorzio di Bonifica della Venezia Giulia, Director of the Regional Federation of BCCs in FVG, Director of the Parco Alimentare del FVG in San Daniele del Friuli and Vice President of Fondazione Agrifood e Bieconomy FVG, the agency whose aim is to implement, promote and foster the coordination and development of the agri-food and bio-economy sector in FVG, in line with the strategy of the Friuli–Venezia Giulia region. Since 2019, he has been Vice President of BCC CreditoConsumo, the company created to meet the financial needs of household customers of Cooperative Credit Banks and Rural Banks. He has also held numerous other positions within the main administrative bodies of the Banking Group to which the CCB belongs: he was a Director and member of the Executive Committee of ICCREA Banca Spa until 2019, a Director of Federcasse from 2007 to 2019 and of the CCB Sviluppo e Territorio Fvg. The latest assignment is the one assumed in March of this year as director of Biovalley Investiments Partner Spa.
